Our Little
Universe
A tiny corner of the internet where only our memories exist.
Ready to see how well you remember your favourite person?
A tiny corner of the internet where only our memories exist.
Ready to see how well you remember your favourite person?
Let's see if you can accurately predict our relationship.
Tap each heart.
No explanations. Just little moments I wanted to keep.
Before we had any idea where this would go.
Not a bad way to spend a first date.
Some details are better left undocumented.
Apparently we clean up nicely.
The kind you wish had lasted a little longer.
But the company was excellent.
Yes, this is documented evidence.
Rude of you to collect evidence while I was unconscious.
Obviously.
No context will be provided.
Or maybe not so accidentally.
Somehow these are the days I remember too.
Still one of my favourite accusations.
Some songs become attached to people.
This one became attached to you.
And yes, there's another song that reminds me of you too — even though I know you probably won't understand why.
I don't know what happens next.
I don't know if we'll end up together. I don't know if you'll actually marry me. And honestly, I don't know what version of us exists in the future.
But maybe I don't need to know all of that right now.
I just know that I might be developing feelings for you again.
And even after a thousand breakups, even after losing feelings a thousand times...
Pick how our morning starts.
Okay. No more games now.
Tap to open.
Sahil,
I think the weirdest thing about us is that no matter how many times everything changes, somehow you never really become just another person to me.
We've had different versions of us. Good ones, bad ones, confusing ones. We've been close, distant, sure about each other and unsure about everything.
And honestly, I don't know what version of us this is going to become.
I don't know if we're going to end up together. I don't know if one day we'll look back at all of this and laugh because we actually made it. I don't know if you'll actually marry me like you say you will.
But I think I've stopped needing to know every answer right now.
Because whatever happens later, you're important to me now.
And maybe that's enough for today.
I don't want to promise you forever just because it sounds beautiful. Life has already taught us that feelings change, people change and sometimes things don't go the way we thought they would.
But I can promise you this:
As long as you're in my life, I want to appreciate you.
I want to make stupid memories with you.
I want to annoy you.
I want to laugh at your terrible flirting.
I want to sit next to you and do absolutely nothing.
I want to celebrate your birthdays and make unnecessarily dramatic websites for you.
And I want to love whatever version of us exists at that moment.
You don't have to be perfect for me. We don't have to have our entire future figured out.
Right now, you're just Sahil.
And somehow, that means more to me than I know how to explain.
So on your 24th birthday, I don't really have some huge promise about forever.
I just have this:
I'm really glad you're here.
And I'm really glad that, out of everyone in this huge world, somehow I got to know you.
Happy birthday, Sahil.
— Isha
For all the versions of us that have existed, and all the ones we haven't met yet.
